Stitches

Can someone find me a great free pattern for a knitted or crocheted cloche?

Y'know, the 1920's looking ones? Also called bucket hats. I've looked on ravelry, but I didn't see any I liked. I don't want it felted, and I don't want to have to pick up stitches. I'd like it to be as easy to understand as possible, especially if it's crocheting, because I just learned!

  3. I like this knit one: http://makeme.typepad.com/photos/finis_2006/michelles_cloche.html This crocheted one is nice: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/chs-cloche.html. (You do have to register for the Lion Brand site.) So is this one, and it doesn't require registration: http://www.crochettoday.com/pdfs/septoct08fp.pdf

  5. A good first-look site for free knitting and crocheting patterns is any yarn manufacturer's website. My two favorites are www.lionbrand.com and www.coatsandclark.com. They have lots of free patterns and helps and such. You can search by skill level, too, as well as pattern type.
