why would someone want to learn to crochet?
Public Comments
- To pass time..or maybe they just want a new hobby
- Possibly because crocheted afghans are back in in home decor and are selling for between $120 and $300 a piece and up. http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=993099&parentid=HOME-BEDDING&pushId=HOME-BEDDING&popId=HOME&sortProperties=&navCount=60&navAction=top&fromCategoryPage=true&selectedProductSize=&selectedProductSize1=&color=095&colorName=MULTI&isSubcategory= Also a lot of (male) snowboarders have learned how to knit and crochet so they can make their own caps because they like to have truly original ones. There are a few who have started a business making one-of-a-kind ski caps by hand.
- To have a task to accomplish, to feel like he or she is creative and uses their time wisely. my mom does and she loves it
- Good way to keep your hands busy--and out of the refrigerator. : )
