Does anyone know a reliable website that sells inexpensive iron-on embroidery designs and lettering?
I originally wanted to buy an embroidery to sew a school bag for my daughters (use it 1-2x a year) with her name on it and make personalized gifts. I realized most of my sewing is making clothes for myself or tailoring things. This is why I was thinking about going the iron-on route (have you heard of www.laughinglizards.com?).

- Hi, I do hand embroidering and I order all my patterns from http://www.colonialpatterns.com/ They are so many to chose from and they are **very** reasonable in price too. Also I have a group in yahoo called **Country_Stitchers**, come on over and check us out, we are a new group, small and we are cross stitchers, embroiders and would love to have you come join us. Good luck with your stitching. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Country_Stitchers/
- Hello, and here is one answer about iron-ons............make them yourself! Take a picture, reverse print it, print out on photo-transfer paper, and Iron! voilla! Works pretty good, too. I have used this technique for kids clothes or things I could not get on the machine. There is a site for this, but I don't know where. .............Sue
- I just saw a site that might have some info at http://www.smartelephantdesigns.com Not sure if that is what you are looking for or not.
