What's a good knitting or crocheting project I can take with me to camp?
Camp is 2 weeks long and I want a good knitting or crocheting (I can do them both well) project I can take with me and work on. I have plenty of yarn. Nothing requiring DPNs or multiple needles, I don't want to lose one. I also will need a free pattern link :) I'd be able to work for about 1 1/2 hours on it each day.

- how bout....this http://www.redheart.com/FreePatterns/tabid/118/Default.aspx?tabid=118&patternid=WR1859.pdf i'm accually currently making this one..and i'm almost done. It really easy and takes maybe a week if you work on it a lot and 2 if you work on it every once in a while...there are a lot of other really cool patterns for both knit and crochet on redheart.com hope i helped:D mahogany
- You take a single circular and learn Magic Loop to make socks. Or you could do a bunch of afghan squares, either technique or start a single piece afghan if you have room for it.
- You will want something that is not too complicated and that you can work without having to follow a long pattern. I like hats, and mittens, and scarves for simple mindless knitting. I also like using circular needles...then you never can lose one! I can make anything with the 40" circs, from even fingers on gloves to a sweater! There are tons of free patterns online... look for an item you would like to make, and search for it. I like any of Elizabeth Zimmermann patterns.
