- stitches ?

- It means if you repair a small problem it saves working nine times harder if you wait and do it later. Making one stitch to repair a hole saves you making 9 stitches if you wait until the hole gets bigger. i.e. Take care of problems while they are small and easier to handle. .
- A stitch done carefully, in a timely fashion. doesn't need fixing. A poorly made stitch needs taken out. The time it takes to pull that stitch and redo it, you could have done nine stitches.
- well it saves you the nine minutes it will take you to repair the crappy work you did sewing the hole the first time when you rushed through it.
- Finishing something that seems small now can save a lot of time and effort later on if you left it hope it helps xx
