what does a stitch in time save nine of?

it doesnt make any sense!!!!! lol argh but i do have something important to do today so how much of a coincidence is that 'woooooo' queue twilight zone music.

2. All i can answer to this one is dont wait till tomorrow to finish a job do it straight away.

5. It means if you repair a small problem it saves working nine times harder if you wait and do it later. Making one stitch to repair a hole saves you making 9 stitches if you wait until the hole gets bigger. i.e. Take care of problems while they are small and easier to handle. .
6. A stitch done carefully, in a timely fashion. doesn't need fixing. A poorly made stitch needs taken out. The time it takes to pull that stitch and redo it, you could have done nine stitches.
7. well it saves you the nine minutes it will take you to repair the crappy work you did sewing the hole the first time when you rushed through it.
8. Finishing something that seems small now can save a lot of time and effort later on if you left it hope it helps xx
