I bought some embroidery designs off of ebay. Now I got a letter from the ESPC wanting 400 from me for copyrig?

designs. Has anyone else got a letter like this?

3. Sounds to me like they are just trying to screw you... They are trying to work the loop hole that artists have. Artists can sell their paintings but retain the copy rights to sell prints of that painting. If your not selling the designs I would would tell them to stuff it. If it is some basic design they you can find at other sites... tell them to stuff it. If it is something intricate that is their original work... they might have something. If it is software you purchased then follow instructions up above if it is a print you purchased its yours.
