Stitches

They say a stitch in time saves nine. Nine what? And what if you only wanted to save eight of them?

  1. Nine stitches - if you only want to save eight, leave it to the next day and the hole will be a bit bigger
  2. One stitch now can mean you don't have to take the time to do nine later. It's just an expression.
  3. lol. Good one. Basically it means procrastination is bad. Put something off until later and it will be worse when you get to it. Here's one for you: When they say "the whole nine yards". Nine yards of what???? Hmmmm....
  4. You should have 9 stitches per inch, therefore if you take the time and do it correctly you don't have to rip out stitches and correct your work.
