MUSLIMS: When you guys make the Hajj pilgrimage, you have to wear a 1-piece clothing, can you wear a Snuggie?
I was just wondering if wearing that would be technically halal, since it IS a 1-piece clothing that fits Islamic stitching requirements? This is what a Snuggie looks like: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=Snuggie&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2&aq=f&oq=

- lol! didnt knew that ur dad goes to church only with underwear! Yesterday, accidentally he forgot his underwear.
- LOL It looks like a bath rope that was turned backwards :-) No thanks
- um i really don't know but really a snuggie wow um just with the regular outfits that's the best to go! and a one piece clothing no way
- lol, you got jokes
- lmfao. i would. if i were muslim:)
- no we can't.
- wearing a one-piece clothing make all the people look the same, which is a major theme in the Islamic teaching.
- Exactly what person "salem A" said that is right, At hajj time for all muslims to wear that piece of clothing and same in color to be equal and same, no matter where we come from and what race we are, at that time we are one and equal. And there for only one purpose to ask forgiveness from allah and pray. So yea to be equal and same is the theme for Hajj. LOL and loose 40 pounds in 10 min..i feel that.. funny but true though, Saudi is very hot and humid!! man
- LOL if u want to look like a monk.. seriously though, Muslims have to wear ihram clothing on hajj...
- Oh, I found out what those damn "scene girls" were. LOL That's so funny because I used to be a hot goth chick who looked just like those girls....only I was legit and not just an "on the surface poser" like those chicks.
- nope sorry. we cant. but u can.
- The snuggie article of clothing would not be allowed, due to colour and the fabric, also would not suit the climate and environmental circumstance. When setting out on Haj on must put on Ihram cloth at Miquat. First perform ablution, then put on two unsewn sheets of white cotton cloth, one as a wrapper, and the other as a coverlet. Everyone from the rich down to the begger, all clad in the same simple white unsewn cotton cloth, presents a sight worthy to see!
