Why did Dumbledore take a knitting magazine in HPHBP?
Public Comments
- Because he wanted to?
- Because he likes Knitting Patterns. :) While he's in the loo I'm guessing it was on the floor, and he likes to knit maybe? He is gay, isn't he. Or I think it's just a random bit of text that brings out a bit of his character so you get to know something about him.
- Cause :)
- Straight from the book; "Oh, there you are, Albus." he said. "You've been a very long time. Upset stomach?" "No, I was merely reading the Muggle magazines," said Dumbledore. "I do love knitting patterns." :)
- He likes knitting patterns. Very simple. :)
- He took it because, as others have said, he likes knitting patterns. But, he also TOOK it, which I thought was odd. He basically stole it from the muggle house without leaving anything behind in payment. Sure, he did clean up their place, but only because another wizard had junked it up to begin with. In the book I think he only read it. In the movie he takes it, which seemed odd.
