How long to dissolvable stitches take to dissolve?
I know this question has been asked before, but all the answers were very vague. I had to get my appendix removed and the surgeon closed the insicions with dissolvable stitches. It's been 11 days since the surgery, and the stitches are still there! Is this normal?

- It took mine about 2 to 2 and a half weeks or so. Each person can be different.
- Years.. Maybe
- Yeah don't sweat it, mine took awhile and some left faster than others (laproscopic so I had a few different incisions). It can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks...and sometimes up to 6. Everyone heals differently and the stiches have different thickness depending on the wound and location.
