Stitches

is there numbing involved in removing stitches?

i had 28 stitches put in my chin. 8 of those stitches disolve on their own, but the other 20 have to be removed. i want to know the process of removing this stitches, i'm going to the doctor to have it done. do they numb the surface of where the stitches are being removed, if so how? thanks. DOES IT HURT?!

1. i had 42 in my thigh and they judt cut it them and pull them out, the only real way theyll hurt and even if they do itll be a little sting nothing much, is if they get caught up for a second.
2. nope they dont numb it but dont worry cause it doesnt really hurt. When they took mine out I dont think some of them were ready to come out yet to some of then ripped open and bled but that just stung a little. Nothing bad at all so it will all be fine. No worries. :-)
