I am crocheting a hat from season one from Knit and Crochet today an it asked after rd 4 to join. How do I?

join this together? I have searched for the answer but to no avail. It is a flat piece but the how do I get it in the round shape? Thanks Cheryl

1. You just bring the free end of the piece around to the hook and start crocheting you don't turn at the end just keep going. If it helps go to youtube and search crochet in the round and there should be a videa to help you!!
2. Hi Cheryl, If you are crocheting, you are joining the first stitch of the round to the last stitch your crochet hook is in. Keeping your crochet hook in the last loop you've made, insert the hook into the first stitch in the round. Wrap the yarn around the hook, pull the yarn through the stitch and the loop that is on the hook. You will have only one loop left on the hook when this is done.
