How to I get my own crochet idea patented and/or published?
i have e crochet pattern that I came up with for babies. I would like to see if I can have it printed in crochet magazines

- I'm not sure if you can patent a crochet design. I've heard of patents on furniture designs though. Try http://www.patentengineers.com There's an explanation of what is patentable. Hope it helps.
- This site might be helpful. http://www.ehow.com/how_2049906_publish-crochet-patterns.html If you don't have any luck following those instructions, you could try a website like http://www.etsy.com and sell the pattern yourself. I've never sold patterns on etsy (because I've never offered any), but from what I've observed and heard about, they seem to sell well. There's also http://www.ravelry.com that you could try. If you aren't a member, there's a waiting list that's about a week long. There are groups on there that might be able to offer more advice on how to get published into magazines or books. Good luck.
