Do you think the price for these jeans is to high?
I am charging $199 for these jeans I made. (I'm a recent Fashion Design graduate.) I made the pattern, cut the fabric, sew them together and did the embroidery by hand. The embroidery took about 10-12 hrs. (If you don't believe me then you've never done cross- stitch.) True Religion and Rock and Republic have jeans that are like $269 and they are plain. My jeans are exclusive, there are only 6 pair made. So what price would you put on them if you designed them? http://www.myspace.com/ga_fashionista

- they're cute, i just think that if your just starting out you should lower the price a bit...
- I think it's too expensive. I wouldn't pay over 60 dollars for a pair of jeans. But your jeans look pretty nice. I bet someone will buy them.
- way to much, charge only $70 or less..
- I wouldn't pay that for those particular jeans just because they aren't my style. But for custom-ish jeans from an up and coming designer I would def. buy them (again, if they were my style). But to make a name for yourself and get your name out there you might consider selling your items a little lower in price. Most people don't want to spend $200 on something from someone they never heard of they would rather spend the extra $70 to say they are wearing rock and republics.
- Wow, those are incredibly cute jeans! It depends on where you sell them, but I'm sure they'll sell really well. I don't think the price is that much (considering how much designer jeans cost) as long as they'll last a long time (without ripping or fraying, etc.). But if they don't sell well at $199, definitely lower the price. Good luck!
- Very very cute! I would def buy those! I'd say charge 150$...youll get more sales.
- ok they are cute for like a black person and i am not black you should also make skinny jeans and white jeans ahhdorable
- i don't like them, never pay 200 for one pair of jeans.
- those are some cute jeans!!! and thts a reasonable price since u made it by hand each pair is unique when u do it tht way!!! u should chargge tht much good luck!!
- i know it must've took a lot of work. i am a fashion designer myself and i know how long it takes to do stuff like that. i don't think that that price is unreasonable but if you aren't quite that renowned than i would lower it a little bit so people think you have good prices for your product and then when more people know you you can raise the price. hope this helps!
- I'd say charge maybe 125$ when you become a little more famous you can work your way up
- First of all, your the fashion Design graduate, so you know more than the general populous how much a pair of one-of-a-kind jeans should cost. Second of all, they are great. You can buy a $60 pair of jeans anywhere. It might be harder to make a living if your jeans sell for a higher price, at least until you are noticed, but do you think Madonna (or Monica) is looking for a $60 pair of jeans? When walking down the street, who do you think is going to gain more attention wearing your jeans... the person who posted above me, or someone that can afford the best? I can't afford them at 200 bucks. Heck, I really can't even afford them at $60. But honey, sell it to whoever it is that you want to buy it, and that sounds like it's not to Target or JC Penny.
