What do I need to download embroidery designs that are on a card that is used in a New Home 8000?

I want of be able to use these designs on my other embroidery machines.

1. I have the same question. I had a New Home 8000 and got a Janome 9500. I use the Magic Box Elite to down load my designs on the card. They said I could use the New Home cards as it takes all kinds but I am afraid I will ruin it if I put the cards in one of the slots. If you know the answer, I would love to hear. Mary
2. Hello Patty, I still own the Janome/NewHome 8000, and am an avid user of the Amazing box 11. It uses bank cards for this machine, thus allowing you to load any design to a rewritable card. It can be purachased from any reputable sewing supplier in the USA. It works well with all the major sewing machine brands. It has given my 8000 a new lease of life. Good luck.
