  1. umm why would you want to?
  2. i used to buy Simply knitting, thought it was good. these mags are quite pricey and i stopped. i would go for one that has all instructions in the same page or place, otherwise it kind of gets hard and confusing if u have to turn to page so and so somewhere at the back of the mag when you are trying to concentrate on yr pattern and knitting.
  3. My preference for knitting magazine is Vogue Knitting, they have very chic and fashionable things to knit :)
  4. just to make it more complicated try this site they do any hobby you can think of
  5. If you're in the US or Canada, before you subscibe to either, see if you can find a copy of Yarn Forward, which is a new one from Great Britain. While I like Simply Knitting, I've found Yarn Forward to have more patterns in a much wider range of sizes (up to a US women's size 48) with very clear, color coded by size directions. I find my copies of these at my local Barnes and Noble, along with a few other European knitting and craft magazines (Burda's Anna and Verena to name two), so you may find them at a book seller near you as well. I've also found, after I converted the prices, that picking them up monthly in a book store is somewhat, although not much, less expensive than subscribing to them.
