can I use knitting yarn for needlepoint?
I need a lot of furry, fuzzy yarn for an item on my needlepoint project. For this only can I use a yarn they have at Michaels? It is for the collar, sleeves and hem of Santa's coat.

- It should be fine. The only thing I would be worried about is the thickness of the yarn.
- it depends on how thick the yarn is.
- If you cannot find the right kind of yarn for your project e-mail me and I can give you information for a substitute.
- If you are looking at a fingering weight fuzzy yarn you'd probably be ok, but DK weight yarn or thicker is going to distort the areas it is used in.
