what can I do to stop the sting when I urinate?

I gave vaginal birth to my first baby on March 25 and had to get stitches!! Now every time I pee it burns like hell!! is there anything i can do to numb it. I've done sitz bath to help with the pain and iced the area but its still really painfull!! help?!

1. vagasil is a good product to help with that, make sure you pat yourself with a wet cloth ( no soap ) and pat dry and then apply more vagisil after you urinate
2. You should maybe consult your GP, they will be able to help.
