- Go to the BBC website and get into BLOOM. Look for items submitted by BAZ on dry lining walls. Your garage is probably single brick wall construction. You will need to build a wooden frame inside fron 3 x 2 timber, fill the gap with styrofoam, cover with a vapour barrier and plasterboard for a finish. Put a big lock on the door!
- First three priorities: 1) Good electrical supply, well filtered 2) Temperature control 3) Relative humidity control I live in western Oregon -- cold and humid in the winter, warm to hot and dry in the summer. I'd put mechanical machines in our garage, but not computerized. -- the temperature swings and the cost of heating that uninsulated space would be too much.
