does anyone have crochet patterns for afghans using double strands of yarn?

- Here is a link. You could check the public library as they have pattern books in the hobby and craft section.
- You can do almost any afghan with as many strands of yarn as you want, you just need to use a bigger hook and not as many starting chains (unless you want a bigger afghan). In books, I have seen patterns that use three or even up to six strands of yarn. Here are some free patterns: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/19806/easy_4_hour_crochet_afghan_pattern.html?cat=24 (no picture) http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/cjif-5.html http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=99&d_id=30〈=en http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/cjif-doubleStrandAfghan.html http://crochetcabana.com/Patterns/Afghans/double-strand-x-st-petit.pdf (this is a PDF file) There's also this book: http://www.amazon.com/Afghans-Double-Crochet-Treasury-Leisure/dp/0942237900
