does anyone have crochet patterns for afghans using double strands of yarn?

Public Comments

  1. Here is a link. You could check the public library as they have pattern books in the hobby and craft section.
  2. You can do almost any afghan with as many strands of yarn as you want, you just need to use a bigger hook and not as many starting chains (unless you want a bigger afghan). In books, I have seen patterns that use three or even up to six strands of yarn. Here are some free patterns: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/19806/easy_4_hour_crochet_afghan_pattern.html?cat=24 (no picture) http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/cjif-5.html http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=99&d_id=30〈=en http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/cjif-doubleStrandAfghan.html http://crochetcabana.com/Patterns/Afghans/double-strand-x-st-petit.pdf (this is a PDF file) There's also this book: http://www.amazon.com/Afghans-Double-Crochet-Treasury-Leisure/dp/0942237900
