Does removing stitches from your gums hurt?
I had my wisdom teeth out a week ago, and the dentist needed to put stitches in my bottom gums. I'm getting them out tomorrow. There hasn't been any pain for the last couple of days, so I'm optimistic. I'm a huge pain wuss, and just want to be prepared. :)

- No not at all. But I'm surprised they didn't give you self dissolving stitches. I had them once.
- Heck yeah! But your'e tough, you can handle it.
- It won't hurt as much as it will be uncomfortable. (To me) It's a gross feeling having stitches wiggled through your body (gums in your case)
- removal of stitches is always very painful. grin and bear it it doesn't take long.
- no it does not i dnt even fell it when they took them off
- i think its more of a tickle... not painful at all
