Unisex Baby colours... Help please?

I am going to be an auntie for the 1st time and i am going to cross stitch a quilt, the quilt has a pattern of a large star in the middle with small stars round the bigger one with 3 brown teddy's, blue cloud. But i don't know what other colour's to use with the yellow, blue and brown colours do use (the parents don't want to know the sex) can anyone help me? I want it suitable for a boy or a girl. Please help

  1. what about greens ?
  2. Use very soft colors. Baby blues, greens, and yellows.
  3. blue is a good colour
  4. Orange is my favorite color, Im a guy, but a lot of girls seem to like it. And red.
  5. Light yellows and greens?
  6. a pale mint green is always nice to use, or soft lemons and perhaps even very light blue/lilac colour, im doing some knitting for my best friend atm and making a small hat, very hard to describe the colour other than blue/lilac so its suitable for both i think
  7. What about a light yellow colour, like lemon
  8. Green, white, orange, yellow, are what a lot of people use for unisex colors
  9. yellow,green,purple,white
  10. you can include every colour.. make it multi coloured.. red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink
  11. minty green, mauve, orange,yellow
  12. Wow this is such a sweet idea! You will be a fantastic aunty! I would stick to a limited colour scheme. Yellow, blue and brown sound really sweet together for a baby. I would not go for green as this would be introducing a whole new colour. Instead I would choose a cream or a light tawny brown for the background. Or perhaps a pale yellow or pale blue. Try holding up different colours with the colours you already have and seeing how they look. xxx
  13. U can use pink and blue so long as u use both
  14. White!!!
  15. i love greens especially mint green. or a pale yellow
  16. pale yellow and u can never go wrong with white!
  17. anything will be fine--the new parents will be so chuffed that you have made a gift for the baby. it is so much more thoughtful that someone has given the time and energy to make a gift--not that it isn't nice to have shop bought stuff either! ( what a price that stuff is at the moment!)
  18. green, orange, red
  19. blue says boy, so unless you want family members calling your baby girl a boy, stay away from blue. i'd go with a nice soft yellow, it is the best unisex colour for babies.
  20. pale yellow pale blue pale green pale orange cream any colour really but as long as there subtle pastel colours then it would be ok for either sex
  21. light green,mint,yellow,cream,red.
  22. i would def. add some green to it.. like a very light green. i just got a quilt at my baby shower with a teddy bear as well..and it has yellows, blues, greens and browns and its verrryyy cute!
