How do I work stamped cross stitch?
I have a baby quilt that is a stamped pattern. Do I stitch all the way through the quilting, or do I just work the stitching through the top layer? If I go through the entire quilt, will I need to put a back on it? Any help anyone can give will be most greatly appreciated.

- Only do the cross stitch on the top layer. Later you will do the rest if the quilt
- It sounds like you have a quilt that is already put together. In that instance you just cross stitch the top, otherwise all your stitches and knots would show through the back. You can "pop" your knot through the top fabric by keeping it small and it will hide in the batting. Try not to trail too far between stitches because the thread will show through. I hope this helped you some!
