Does Removing stitches hurt?

Well Im suppost to get my stitches removed in like 5 days and im very scared cuz i dont kno if theyll hurt i wash my cut where the stiches are everyday so it gets them wet does that help any?

washing ur stitches probably doesnt do anything other than aggravate the skin in that area. Ive had stitches removed before adn no it does not hurt. You may feel a slight (very very very slight) sting if u have a lot of stitches but other than that it is completely painless and u dont even feel anything

Relax ! You'll feel a slight stinging sensation but it's normal and it's nothing to get nervous about. Just try to think about things that make you happy when getting the stitches removed and above all relax !
As long as the wound is well healed, it shouldn't hurt at all. You will probably notice the area of the stitches a little bit itchy after they are removed but it is very mild and goes away quickly. As for getting them wet, this does nothing to help the process or the stitches..
