Where can I find some 50's embroidery designs?
I am making a throw for my brother and sister-in-law's 50th wedding anniversary. I need designs relating to 1957 or just 50's designs in general.

- Check at church thrift shops (I have seen quite a few at the shops around here) and if you don't spot any, ask the women staffing the shops, they will be your best resource for locating that kind of item. Thanks for asking the question; it gave me an opportunity to follow some of the links that the other posts provided and reminded me of when I was a child in the 50's when I first was learning to embroider tea towels and pillowcases--unfortunately something I no longer take the time to do in today's technologically-enriched world.
