Stitches

Is this Normal for a mole removal to look like a cigarette burn?

I had a mole removed 2 days ago. The mole was pretty deep but no stitches were used, instead they used this iron ointment to stop the bleeding and left it at that. Now I look like I have a cigarette burn on my arm. Has anyone ever heard of that?

  1. Mine looks exactly the same! It was removed from the top of my wrist no less, so now it looks like I'm some idiot who likes to burn himself with cigarettes! The good news? After a year, it's faded and blended in quite a bit, and I'm guessing that a year from now it won't be noticeable at all :) Just gotta grin and bear it for awhile, eh?
  2. Yes, it was most likely burned off. Or frozen off which burns the mole off. Kind off like freezer burn.
