Keep stitches covered/?

How long do I need to keep them covered. Just got moles removed for biopsy. He cut them off with a scalpel and stitched them up, didn't mention how long i had to keep them covered. Thanks in advance.

1. my doctor told me to always have them covered until u go back and get them taken out usually so nothing gets in/by it and gets infected
2. Once a scab is formed the open air is the best thing to heal quicker. If they are the self dissolving stitches they wil go away soon but if they have to be removed you have to keep the stitches moist and covered until the doc pulls them out. Allow the stitches to breath everynight and then recover them so you don't get any infections.
3. keep them covered until u get them removed if not they could get infected. be careful
