I have a glass cover made using identical stitches probably double crochet which i'd like to copy but i can't seem to find instructions for anything easy

  1. Try www.freepatterns.com . I have always found their patterns simple enough and you will probably find a doily pattern there. Decorative Crochet and Magic Crochet mags have a lot of easy beginner patterns too.
  2. You don't have to do doilies. You could also start out with bookmarks or coasters. The possibilities are endless. Here are some links to websites where you might find something you like: http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/home_decor.php http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/doilies.php http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/bookmarks.php http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/filet_crochet.php http://www.coatsandclark.com/Crafts/Crochet/Projects/HomeDec/Crafts+Project+List.htm http://crochet.about.com/od/doilies/Doily_Free_Patterns.htm ~Happy Crocheting!~
  3. Try this, take one of your favorite patterns, buy some size 10 crochet cotton, a size 7 steel hook and you are there. How's that for easy. Yes, I do this all the time, and when you get that down, try getting a book from your library. Hope this helps. Mary
