What is something original I can crochet with thread?

Size 10 thread. I'm bored doing doilies and bookmarks - something that looks cool would really help

3. How about a hat/cap? Something close fitting. Or even something like a tam? The example below is done it looks like in worsted weight, but if you can do a doiley, I'm sure you can customise/design your own. Or you might prefer a scarf or shawl? You could make some absolutely beautiful lacy patterns. Have fun!
