Panoramic Picture Printing?

So I have a digtal camera and I can take multiple photos to "stitch" together on the computer for a panoramic picture. I really want this pic printed out, kinda large. Any clue on a place that do this for me? If any one knows one, how should I bring it to them. Keep it on my memory card and let them do it, or should I stitch the photos together on the computer and burn it to a disc. Thanks!

  1. Try some of the online printing services. They'll tell you what format they need.
  2. do it yourself and save on a disk or a jump drive and take it to a local camera shop. Not walmart. Most camera shops will have roll printers and can print as large as you want. Some hold 24 inch papers some larger. but the length is pretty much as long as you want it. They will print it for you and show you the print. If you dont like it tell them what you dont like and they will fix it.
  3. I would suggest you stitch it yourself first, then you can be sure you are printing what you want, if a photoplace does it for you, you may not be happy with the result, and they will charge you a fortune for the time. There are many stitching programs out there, Pixtra is one of the most well known for stitching to print. The other way to do this, (depending how often you are going to use it) is buy a fish eye lense (about $600) although the picture you take is round, the software the lense should come with will straighten it out for you, My site will give you an example of what you can do with that. http://www.panorama-it.com/
