I'm looking for a counted cross stitch pattern, can you help me?
I would love a pattern with pine needles and cones with snow on them and a few wild birds such as nuthatches, finches, cardinals, etc.

- lol..... search "COUNTED CROSS STICH" on google :)
- Mary Maxim used to have a beautiful picture similiar to this ~ not sure about the pine cones but there were birds and snow and a pine tree, I believe. Just found this. Check out the below link and also look around their site and see if you can find anything else interesting. Have fun :)
- I make designs of my own by grabbing computer images of interest, then imposing a hatched grid on top. There is also software available for $30 or so that will do the job for you. The one I have is called Stitch20, and I love it!
- This page tells you how to design your own pattern from a picture or photo: http://www.embroidery-methods.com/cross-stitch-pattern-maker.html
- Try Crossed Wing Collection (www.crossedwing.com) which specializes in bird designs. They're quite detailed and realistic-looking. The charts are available at needlework shops and online.
