Why is my sewing machine not working?

This is just for people who knows about sewing machines. I don't need any ugly remarks or statements please. Here is my question I bought a Disney's Brother Sews and Embroidery SE270 machine . The LCD screen come on but nothing is on it and it started out not reading the embroidery card yesterday and now nothing. Help please.
