  1. from an old lady who loves it and is patient
  2. get a DVD/CD rom
  3. They have books for left handed people so u should try it. I learned how to do it by reading alot of books. Then i looked at actual pics on the net to help show how my hands should look. Also if u see somebody doing it ask them to show u. Ive done it many times. It actually flatters people that ur in awe with their work.
  4. This is really weird but I am right hdd and learned from a lefty who crocheted right handed. So my crochet LOOKS ok but very different than anyone elses. Also, I learn best by demo/participation. I (teehee) sat in her lap and she manipulated my hands in the direction and mothion I needed to make. I read, watched tried to copy and nothing else made any sense! Maybe you have to do the same brain thing. Try to find someone who is willing to use any method to teach you.
  5. Here's some information that might help learning to crochet left handed. I think getting started is the hardest part, but once you get started the instructions would basically be the same. I found some instructions for left handers and some videos, which show you how to do things left handed. http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=1324 http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=left+handed+crochet http://www.crochet.org/lessons/lessonl/lessonl.html http://www.geocities.com/snowymts.geo/lefties.html
  6. i think from videos of people teaching crochet. there are some on you tube.
  7. im left handed too and my mom just taught me how to do it right handed. lefties are usually good and doing that. otherwise Happy Hooker might have left handed directions...i know that Stitch and B*tch did for knitting(same author)
