How can you learn to crochet?

Without taking classes...? I don't have extra curricular activities at my school except for band and a few sports, which aren't very good. I want to learn. How long does it take? Is it worth it? It sounds fun, but I have my doubts... Feedback please?

  1. wtf? where did that come from? watch youtube videos...
  2. There are some really good sites on the internet to learn to crochet. One that I always recommend to my students is Lionbrandyarn.com It all depends on how quick you pick it up. I have had students pick it up in a few minutes and some not pick it up at all. I think it is worth it. I learned when I was 4 and have been crocheting for 41 years. You can also try to check with your local library and see if they teach classes. Good luck.
  3. I'd assume you can just go to any good search engine and type in "how to crochet" or "crochet instructions" and get some good sites. Libraries sometimes have knitting and crochet sections also that might have some good crochet instruction books. I knit, and I learned the knit stitch online...
  4. omg kendall. Since when do you say the F-bomb? Or even abbreviate?!
