Stitches

My mom had an eye surgery and something happened?

i know that bruises and stitches are normal but her eye had a swelling part at. her right eye was the 1st one to be operated on and the left 2nd. the problem is in the left eye the the half part of the eye (not the pupil only the white part and as i said half) had this Swelling effect like when you get burn and swelling forms. could any one can comment on this problem coz im a little as to be exaggerated "paranoid" about her eye. thnx in adv.
