Part of my left foot is numb, sometimes stitches and itches. Need diagnosis. Detailed description provided.?
The outer part of my left foot is numb, starting from the heal and extending all the way to the second toe. Sometimes I feel stitches which last a few seconds and a part of my leg is very sensitive to touch, that is whenever I dry myself with a towel this area has a very strong and burning sensation, to the point that I can not touch it anymore. This also lasts a few seconds only. Whenever I point my foot I feel like if the muscles or nerves of my toes were too short. It is not a painful feeling. In the evening, my ankle and knee become very itchy. Could the cause of this problem originate from the spine?

- this happens to me: think its bad nerves or poor circulation
- There is 99% possibility that it is because a spine problem. I suggest you to go to a doctor for back, and maybe even do xRays. Good luck!
- check ur shoes, try changing ur footware, wear comfortable shoes
- I don't know what would make it itchy, but I recently had some of the same symptoms. Went to a neurologist & had a MRI. I have spinal stenosis in my lumbar spine. It might also be a heel spur or neuroma. Good Luck to you.
