Is it easy for stitches in your mouth to pop out?

I just got my wisdom teeth out today, and I had a bunch of stitches. Its now like 5 hours since I went in and I can feel one of the stitches with my tongue, and when I look at in the mirror I can see the end of it. Now I have honestly never had stitches before, is that just where they tied the not? Its also bleeding somewhat I had to put some gauze on it.

1. Stitches are most effective in the first 12 hours or so. So if they come out, it's no big deal.. Try not to play with them with your tongue. It will just lead to more jaw pain and headaches
