Can anybody tell me a good, affordable, very beginner knitting machine?

I'm looking in to making my own socks and would like a very beginner, affordable knitting machine that can get this done? Any ideas? Thanks!

1. You can't knit socks on a knitting machine!
2. Yes, you can knit socks on a knitting machine. It's specialised knitting machine though (circular instead of straight). A good spot you might want to check out is ebay. But beyond that I dont know any knitting sock machine by brand name.
