  1. Very normal. Ask your doc or pharmacist they can give u some stuff to drink which makes ur urine less acidic so it wont burn as much
  2. yup they will be sore for about a week to two weeks you should have gotten a lil squirt bottle from the hospital you need to keep them clean by squirting the area with warm water each time you use the bathroom and also they gave me some spray that helped with the pain
  3. i think its pretty much normal ..i only had the urge to scracth cause they were so icthy ..but it did burn a lil and wheni went to the bath room as well but if it hurts just call the doctor to make sure you dont want to go on like that hurting just be safe
  4. Its going to burn b/c you are urinating on a wound. I had a pretty bad tear myself that needed stitching and that was almost 11mths ago and I still have pain where the tear was every once in a while. Just keep yourself as clean as possible. Don't know what they have you doing but I was given like a squirt bottle to spray water down there after I used the restroom and was told to pat dry with the TP. It sucks but is well worth it. Cleaniness is the key to preventing infection.
  5. First, congratulations!!! Do you have Csection stitches or episiotomy stitches? If you had an episiotomy then yes what you're describing sounds normal, it happened to me too. What I did was lean forward when you pee that way the pee won't hit the stitches and use a peri bottle if you have one with warm water to rinse out the episiotomy site, that helped me a lot with the pain. If you're really worried then call your doctor or midwife and they can reassure you better. But try not to worry too much, I mean one of my stitches popped down there and though it hurt, it was really okay and I was back to normal in no time. Good luck and I hope this helps.
  6. Yeppers, it just means they are ready to come out, maybe just popping themselves and congratulations on you little bundle of joy.
  7. very normal. if the hospital didn't supply you with tucks pads (or similar), have someone get you some. they help A LOT. after you use the bathroom, use a squirt bottle filled with warm water and cleanse yourself, then pat dry. also, you can take the sitz bathes at home. just fill the bathtub about 2 inches with warm water. the good news...the itching and stinging will go away very soon!
  8. yes that is very normal i had the same thing with my first.
  9. very normal....it happened to me with my first. take a warm bath && take some Tylenol for the pain
  10. Definitely get some witch hazel pads (Tucks is a brand). Very soothing!! Also ask your doc about getting some numbing spray. My hospital sent me home with both and they were worth their weight in gold. Also, you can try a sitz bath. It was a waste of my time but many women love them.
