how do i double up the yarn when knitting?
i have a pattern which says that i am to use my wool "used double throughout". How do i do this?

- Use two balls of yarn, and hold the strands together as if they were one.
- You lay two balls together, and use both strands all the way through just as if you were using a single ball strand. It is to make the yarn thicker, or to do tweedy like yarn if the 2 balls are different colors.
- It means exactly what it says: use the yarn doubled. That means, to fold over the yarn, and you have a doubled thickness. When knitting, you would use two balls, and knit with both held together, as if it was one yarn. Simple!
