question on a certain crochet stitch?
Has anyone heard of a crochet stitch called a TWIN STITCH? I have been crocheting for over 50 years and have never heard of this.

- Could they mean double?
- According to this website: http://www.switzerite.com/learn_to_crochet.html The book 63 Easy to Crochet Pattern Stitches Combine to Make an Heirloom Afghan has a pattern for a square called the twin stitch. I have that book, but it's basically making two dc in a stitch and making two dc in the next stitch again. This link gives a picture of it: http://www.doodle-head.com/images/crochet/63squares/square35.jpg This website gives a different definition: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/archive/index.php/t-17083.html This website also has a twin stitch variation: http://www.angelfire.com/wv/happyghan/twinstitch.html Interesting question. I'm always on the lookout for new stitches to try.
