question on a certain crochet stitch?

Has anyone heard of a crochet stitch called a TWIN STITCH? I have been crocheting for over 50 years and have never heard of this.

According to this website: http://www.switzerite.com/learn_to_crochet.html The book 63 Easy to Crochet Pattern Stitches Combine to Make an Heirloom Afghan has a pattern for a square called the twin stitch. I have that book, but it's basically making two dc in a stitch and making two dc in the next stitch again.
