Stitches

Need help with crochet stitches!?

I'm making a dimensional stitch throw and I have a special stitch here called "Front zigzag" and a "Back zigzag". These are the instructions for the 3rd row: Ch 3, dc in next st, front zigzag(see Special stitches) across to last 2 sts, dc in each of last 2 sts, turn. (Front zigzag: Sk next 3 sts, dtr in next st, working behind dtr just made, dc in first sk st, dc in each of next 2 sk sts.) I need help understanding this part: working behind dtr just made, dc in first sk st, dc in each of next 2 sk sts. How do I work behind the dtr and which is the first sk st, and the next 2 sk sts? I'm really confused. It's a very pretty pattern and was working on it for a gift and I just hope that I can do it, any help is greatly appreciated!!! This is where I got it from if it'll help you help me better! http://www.crochetmagazine.com/freepat_pdf/fp_summerlilacs.pdf

  1. This is easy. After you skip the 3 sts and do your dtr, you will just pull it down towards you so the dtr is out of your way and continue on to doing what the pattern says.....going back to the skiped stitches and do your dc's. I have done this before and do like the out come. Anymore questions for me I can help you and you will be able to so this.
