Stitches

How do I care for my leg that I cut with a CHAINSAW!!!???

I cut my leg on accident with a chainsaw. I am hiding it from my parents cuz they would be pissed. I needed stitches cuz its like and inch long cut on my leg above my ankle and like a centimeter deep. I am using supergule and "New Skin liquid bandage". Should I use a needle to poke through and let the juices out once in a while?? Dont say tell ure parents or get stitiches cuz im not gonna! How should I care for it so it heals, doesnt get infected, and doesnt scar big?

  1. It will get infected, u need to seek medical attention.
  2. I hope you're not serious, but if you are it will become infected it's all a matter of "when". You have to take it to a doctor or at least a free clinic. If you don't you may end up infecting and perhaps losing your leg if gangrene, pus, or rot spreads.
  3. go....to....the....hospital....you...dumb....ass...
  4. please tell your parent you need medical help you could die if it is infected
  5. Your health is more important than whether your parents will be angry. If you are stupid enough to not let your folks know about this, you are almost certainly stupid enough to mistreat the cut.
  6. the biggest thing to worry about is gangrene, also known as flesh-eating bacteria. If your parents are so mean to you that you get punished when you hurt yourself, i would move out as soon as possible - if you can still walk.
  7. Just get a hickory stick and a zippo. You have to figure the rest out by yourself
  8. Call the ambuslance Stop the bleeding with pressure, wrap something over it to prevent bleeding/bacteria. Tell ur parents. They are parents, kids make mistakes. they have to expect it. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY> STOP AVOIDING IT AND GET THE STEPPING! THEY ARE GONNA SCOLD U FOR A REASON! NOW NOW NOW!!! GO GO GO !!!!
  9. From the looks of your question, someone is being quite the naughty boy and going against his parent's discretion. I can nearly guarantee you, that even if they've threatened to take away your life if you did "something", that they'd rather let you keep your leg than you avoid getting grounded or whatever for a few weeks. Do the responsible thing, tell your parents you messed up, get medical attention and avoid damages to your body that will be with you for the rest of your life.
  10. Take your lumps from your parents. Get to an emergency room NOW. A chainsaw cut will put an awful lot of junk into the wound and you will get a very bad infection. You will need stitches and some of them will be on the inside. Stop wasting time reading this. Get to your parents and get to that emergency room.
  11. wow! i dont know man u in sum shyt. if its bigger then a scratch yeah u gunna need stitches. u can do it urself! research it thou...my uncle had to do it in the woods. and just pour mad amounts of alcohol and peroxide on it! and glue can work....just clean periodiclly..and the main thing to do is go research it ryt now the web can tell u lots!! seriosly i dont know y u came here??? chainsaws are dirty like ur nose
  12. The first thing you should do is go tell your parents yes they will be mad that you were playing with the chainsaw in the first place(STUPID) but they will be even madder at you if you keep this frim them and you end up loosing your leg to infection like gangrene. This is very serious, if you absolutly cant tell your parents the GO TO THE ER!!!!! as long as you pose no threat to your self or others then the Dr. cant leagaly tell your parents anything(unless ur under 14 i think is the age) besides you will regret not doing anything about this. Superglue is not the answer if the cut is that big besides chainsaws are very dirty and carry bacteria on them.
  13. PLEASE GET STITCHES.Your parents would be mad at you for not telling because people can die from small or big cuts.It can get badly infected.Yes the scar can be big.You can have a normal scar or no scar at all if you get stitches. You can go to the emergency room on your own just take your medicare card I don`t think you need your parents with you.
