crochet stitches?
Is there anywhere online where I can learn some unique crochet stitches? All I know ,(and I know very well) is a single, half double, double, treble, slip stich, and I can make a round. Is there any unique and creative stitches I can learn? My grandmother used to teach me but she recently passed away. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

- There's a stitch called the popcorn stitch and one called the v-stitch. They are just cool ways to put together the basic stitches. There's also a cool stitch called the afghan stitch that you need a special hook for. See the links below.

- Basically you have all of the stitches you need to know. Any other stitches incorporate them into it. These are shown in the instructions for the patterns. The most different and unique patterns for doliies I have seen is in a subscription book called Magic Crochet C/O Kable Square PO Box 226 Mt. Morris Il 61054. I have only their older book but they probably have a space on the internet by now. They gave patterns for flowers, pineapple and have started to put in things for children and women. Right now if I were you I would look for patterns and use the knowledege you grandmom gave you(Bless her soul) and for teaching you.
- You have all the basics. Anything else you could do would be patterns that incorporate these basic stitches to create unique patterns. All you really need to do (if you don't know how already) is to learn to read a pattern.
