Halloween costume not sure what to wear with this skirt?

So my granny today found out i have a work halloween party so she gave me her old hippie looking skirt its really cute and long its crochet and i dunno off white so what im wondering is if anyone has any ideas as to what i could throw together with it...id really like to make her happy and wear it. Thanks guys any input helps!

1. why not be a hippie or gypsy?? for a hippie, get a long tie-eyed blouse or even just a regular peasant blouse, lots of beads,maybe a peace sign, tie a scarf around your forehead, use really flat sandals (if you can't go barefoot LOL) for a gypsy, (see the pic below)an off the shoulder midriff blouse, either sandals or boots, large hoop earrings, scarves and lots of bracelets and beads. because the skirt is off white, you would need a lot of color in your top and your scarves.
