Does anyone have a crochet pattern for a one/two skien baby blanket?
I have some leftover cotton yarn...one full skein and then three balls of odds and ends in different colors. It can be eclectic...I just hate throwing away good yarn.

- Hats and booties are other good choices. The Lion Brand yarn site below has lots of possibilities. http://www.lionbrand.com/content-crochetPatternIndex.html?d=infants
- I just did this blanket. http://ledzeplisa.blogspot.com/2005/05/pattern-easy-baby-blanket.html It works up fast and you can make it as big as you want. Just make sure you don't make your starting chain too long. I did that and I ended up making it a lot bigger than I intended to. It does use an unusual method for a starting chain and I found it hard to crochet an edging when this method is used. If you choose not to use it, I suggest you chain an even number of stitches for the starting chain. Double crochet in the 4th chain from the hook and double crochet in each chain across. It should give you an even number of double crochets if you count the turning chain. You could also try this one. http://ledzeplisa.blogspot.com/2005/06/pattern-crinkle-textured-baby-blanket.html If you find a pattern elsewhere you want to do, but you want to make a smaller version, I suggest you look here on how to calculate a starting chain: http://ledzeplisa.blogspot.com/2005/10/how-to-calculate-pattern-multiples.html ~Happy Crocheting!~
