If you have done entraloc in knitting, or with Afghan Stitch, have you ever tried it with single crochet?
I have done it with Afghan Stitch and in single crochet, but not in knitting, I would like to see it done in knitting and wonder about it's popularity in any of the stitches for needles and hooks.

- have knitted a few jackets for myself in entrelac with many different coloured yarns - makes an interesting talking point when I go out with my coat of many colours (often get accosted by people who are fascinated on how it was made)but have never tried it with crochet. Not too easy to come by patterns for this technique for clothing so I had to design my own. Loved knitting this way but alas due to arthritis it has now become difficult - but as I can still crochet must give it a try. Thanks for the hint
- an egg. that would take like a year to make.
- I haven't tried it, but I have friends that have. The main joy of this technique is the way people get jaw-droppingly amazed at your efforts. It looks hard, although the people I know who have tried it keep telling me how easy it is. I'm still convinced that entrelac is French for "Insanity", but they insist it's easier than it looks.
- Wow, this is a new one on me...I've been crocheting for over 40 years and the afghan stitch and it's variations I've done...this is something I've never heard of...or seen...and I'd love to.....I don't knit tho.....the single crochet intregues me...details, please! Edit: Okay...found some pix of it on the web.....beautiful! looks like it won't be difficult for me master at all...and I can just imagine a bed coverlet done it that technique...well, ya learn something new everyday............
- Nonny here's what I found for entrelac a while back http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=entrelac&btnG=Search I know it's just a google search but sometimes every little bit helps. I have yet to try it (too busy procrastinating on other projects) but it looks so fun and interesting. I knit and crochet but find crochet easier. Anyway here's a pattern search http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=entrelac+patterns+free&btnG=Search Maybe http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory.php might have something. Add: found a pattern to how to entreloc crochet http://journals.aol.com/mhdesigner1/MyHooksandNeedles/entries/2006/04/26/entrelac-crochet/129
