- ok, this is what I recommend. You can do cross stitch on top of a plain afghan stitch afghan, using the university logo. You can chart the logo by printing it off on graph paper, there are sites to download the best crochet graph paper.you need to be brave, you will be amazed at how well you design your own patterns!! you can download and graph the logo yourself, by printing off graph paper, and then putting that graph back in the printer, and printing off the logo on the paper. You can either cross stitch the pattern, or crochet it into the afghan, using the chart. I have based a pattern on an existing afghan project, and by substituting the images that work for me, like the logo, I managed to fake a nice pattern; but I knit, so that is slightly different. good luck and be brave, this is the perfect time to create your own pattern
- Hun, you can create this perticular pattern yourself. Take a piece of graph paper and draw the logo out. You can also get printable graph paper for your computer I think. Once you have the logo graphed out then all you have to do is crochet a solid background using either single ot half double crochet and then cross stitch the logo on. Each square will equal one stitch. You can also just get a cross astitch pattern in the design you want then crochet a solid backgrouind and cross stitch that. Believe it or not, cross stitching on crochet is fun and easy. Try it.
- Another option (if you don't like to cross stitch) is to just take the colors of that particular university and crochet a pattern of your choice with those colors. I would be less time consuming, but the effect wouldn't be as great.
