- all you have to do is find a pattern for the BASIC granny square..and just keep going around and around and around, Just remember when you get to the corner to make your sc to turn the corner..From your question i'm ASSUMING that you already know how to make a granny square, so that you'll know what i'm talking about..BUT if you don't..email me, i've got A BUTT LOAD of patterns, and i can give you step by step instructions! here!!! i just found this..and i think it might be exactly what your looking for!..keep in mind you can change the colors!!
- I have made one like that before. (In fact, that was the first afghan I made.) You can make a granny square as big as you want, just keep adding rounds. You don't even have to use the classic granny pattern. You can use any square pattern that repeats or you can change your stitches a little bit to make it more interesting. The possibilities are endless. There are classic granny patterns that are the size of lapghans on tons of websites.
- Read a blog with an origional pattern with steps. Do the pattern until your granny is big enough and then fasten off.
- Follow these instructions and keep increasing according to the pattern. You won't find a pattern and if you do, it is just going to tell you to keep repeating what you have already done. Each time you increase in the corner, it gets larger. You can make granny squares as large as you want to.
