What "made simple books or courses" are available to learn about CROCHETING?
I would like to learn all about the "art of crocheting."

- Michaels, or any other craft store, for that matter, carries a full line of books on crocheting....How To Crochet If You Think You Can't.....Crocheting For Dummies (which is actually pretty good), and lots of others. Also, it is almost a certainty that they will have classes you can take, with good instructors.
- Walmart or any store that has yarn usually carries books on how to crochet. The stitches aren't that hard to remember, it is the flexability of your fingers that you will need to work on. If you hold the yarn too tight, your stitches will be tight and your creation smaller than anticipated. Keep that in mind if you try to follow a pattern! Here is a web site where you can learn the basic stitches and get some free patterns. Good luck and may you have many years of making crocheted things! crochet.about.com
- If you lived in Cleveland, OH, you could contact me and I'll teach you! and lord knows I have a ROOM filled with yarn to share!
